An established and growing manufacturing company on Long Island is looking to hire a Cost Accountant with experience in Manufacturing environments.



What you need for this position:



- 4-7years of finance experience in a manufacturing environment including at least 2 years of Cost Accounting

- Extensive knowledge of cost accounting systems including Standard Costing (REQUIRED)

- Proven ability to analyze material, labor and overhead standard costs and variances

- Experience in coordinating annual physical inventory

- Thorough knowledge of manufacturing floor, and production process implications on the finance systems.

- Experience in ERP or other integrated systems (ORACLE/SAP, JD Edwards, Manufacturing Pro or similar system)

- Advanced knowledge of spreadsheet software and ability to perform ad-hoc reporting and analysis

- Bachelor's or higher degree in Accounting or Finance- would be preferable
